Old Gringo began in 2000 by Yan Ferry and Ernie Tarut. They decided to bring together Yan’s bootmaking and design talents with Ernie’s 30 years of experience in leather creation to create boots of superior style and class.
Old Gringo boots started its first factory in 2000, and the first collection of original styles were available within six months. The boots were very popular in the market by traditional western outlets, as well as fashion boutiques, catalogs and shoe stores
